Downtown

Arlington’s historic downtown brings you back to the old American West with North Olympic Ave lined with historical wood and brick buildings. Strolling down the main street on a sunny day will show you why Arlington is one of the gateways to the Cascades, as you’ll be treated to magnificent mountain views.

If you can take your eyes off the views, you can enjoy the shops and restaurants downtown Arlington offers.  Moe’s Coffee has both a coffee shop and a Lounge that serve cocktails, wine, beer, and live music.

After Coffee and before evening drinks, enjoy boutiques like Ava Rose or Sassafras Vintage & Gifts. Cyclists will enjoy a stop at Arlington Velo Sport before heading out to ride on the Centennial Trail.

Parks & Recreation

Arlington sits at the start of State Highway 530 and is a gateway into the North Cascades with easy access to magical hikes like the Boulder River Canyon. However, the savvy outdoors enthusiast knows that Arlington is a destination worth sidetracking yourself in with its many parks and recreation options.

Arlington is near the northern end of the Centennial Trail and has many access points to the trail. Enjoy the downtown art walk along the path, or take your bike 25 miles south to Snohomish for the day. Visit Twin Rivers Park for playing fields and a disc golf course, or visit the outdoor exhibits at the Stillaguamish Valley Pioneer Museum.
