Marysville Community Guide

Explore Marysville

Historically known as the “Strawberry City”, Marysville holds an annual strawberry festival in the third week of June. However, there is much more to Marysville than that little red fruit. Marysville is the second-largest city in Snohomish County. Check out our recommendations for places to dine, shop, and visit in Marysville.

Shopping

If you like outlet shopping, head over to nearby Tulalip to the Seattle Premium Outlets. You will surely score deals from brands like Adidas, Clarks, Dr. Martens, Gap, Lululemo, and more.

If local shops are more your style, head to Third Street and State Avenue, where you’ll find local businesses such as Celestial Gaming3rd Street Books, and The Vintage Violets. If you are thirsty while shopping downtown, you can visit the local brewery, 5 Rights Brewery, named after the 5 Rights of Medication Administration the owner learned in nursing school, or check out Swinnerton Brewery. If Breweries are your thing then don’t miss a chance to head north of downtown to Whitewall Brewery, Marysville’s oldest brewery.

Natural Surroundings

Ebey Waterfront Park is centrally located and is a lovely downtown waterfront area. From public fishing areas to children’s playgrounds, you can spend an afternoon with family and friends enjoying the view while having a picnic. Gardeners will enjoy the WSU Master Gardener Demonstration Garden located in Jennings Park. Or head over to Olympic View Park for a view over the Ebey Slough towards the Olympics. Bikers and joggers will want to head to the Centennial Trail for 30 miles of a paved bike trail.
